Public Images
The purpose of this page is to allow testbed administrators to share their images with other users and other Emulabs. Images are stored on users.emulab.net:/q/public_images, so you must have an account on the Utah Emulab to access/upload images and to edit this page. If you want to make images available, please send email to testbed-ops@flux.utah.edu telling us what Emulab you administer, so we can grant you write access to the directory.
When adding a new image, please follow the format of this sample entry as closely as possible. Copy/Paste the sample entry at the bottom of the file and fill in the details. Feel free to add any other detail you feel is needed.

Emulab's Ubuntu74 upgraded to 7.10 and then to 8.04, rebuilt kernel with an attempt at an ipod patch.
TODO: verify that ipod works, and rebuild/reinstall emulab node software on this image.

rebuilt kernel, attmpted ipod patch, Deter tweaks: (PST/PDT, keys, default password, +smb_client, +gated binary, -serial from grub 'terminal' line, internal package server, -emacs, etc.)

rebuilt kernel, attmpted ipod patch, Deter tweaks: (PST/PDT, keys, default password, +smb_client, +gated binary, -serial from grub 'terminal' line, internal package server, -emacs, apt-get remove kexec-tools (warm boot not good for emulab), rm /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules, etc.)

TODO: add ipod, rebuild/reinstall emulab node software, refactor ifcfg-eth99 for new dhclient behavior (see .notes file).
