Emulab FAQ: Hardware Setup: Do any Emulab nodes have wifi (802.11) interfaces?

Yes, of two kinds. We currently have:
1. 18 Pentium IV 3GHz nodes scattered around our building with two wifi interfaces each, as well as GNU Software Radio hardware (USRP). We have purchased 100 more high-end Core2 Duo machines to dramatically expand this testbed, installation to occur in May 2007.
2. We have a dense 6x6 array of 802.11 from 36 pc600 cluster nodes in our machine room. This is good for studying interference effects.
